How to send forms in WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, LINE and WeChat
Your customers want to buy in the chat app they already use. A short form, sent right in that chat, gets you every detail you need in one go.
Chat apps are where many customers now ask questions and place orders. That is good for sales, but a chat is a messy place to collect details: the name in one message, the address in another, a photo of a document somewhere in between. A form fixes that, as long as it lives inside the chat.
What a form in a chat looks like
You send a message with a short link. The customer taps it and the form opens on their phone, one question at a time. They tap answers, type a few words, take a photo, and press Send. They never leave the conversation, and they don’t install anything.
How it works in each app
- Telegram lets businesses make their own bot. A bot can greet each new customer with a button that opens your form right inside Telegram, and it has a menu beside the message box.
- WhatsApp: the form goes as a link from your own WhatsApp. One Infinite Inbox opens WhatsApp with the message and the customer’s personal link already written.
- Messenger, LINE and WeChat: the message with the link is copied, ready to paste into the chat from your own account.
What to put in the form
- For an order: the name exactly as on an official document, the delivery address, a phone number with its country code, and photos or files if you need them.
- For an enquiry: who they are, what they are interested in, where they live, and their question.
- For anything else: only what you need for the next step. Use taps instead of typing wherever you can.
Keep the answers organised
Give every customer their own link, so their answers land in the right place. In One Infinite Inbox each answer lands on the customer’s card with where it came from, alongside their photos and files, the step they are at, and the order number once there is one.
